West Ham Overjoyed After Man Utd Win

All the fans at the London Stadium with West Ham tickets were given spectacular footballing action as West Ham defeated Manchester United 2-0

West Ham sent United their 20th loss in a calendar season, marking their worst-ever record in three decades. The match was a dull affair for most of the time until England hopeful Jarred Bowen managed to break the deadlock with a well-spirited goal in front of United’s goalkeeper Onana.

The goal was followed by a brilliant intercepted goal from Mohammed Kudus, who scored by bypassing two defenders alone. The Kudus goal confirmed victory for all the fans with West Ham tickets as they took home valuable 3 points.

United needed vital defensive players such as Lindelof, Maguire, Martinez, and Varane. It made manager Erik Ten Hag to field 19-year-old Willy Kambwala a senior debut.

While Kambwala had a good day, the team displayed a lackluster performance that eventually favored West Ham.

It was a silent first half for West Ham, but the second half saw the side up their momentum to overpower an unmotivated United side.

The second half saw a brilliant Onana save from a Bowen header, but Bowen came out lucky on the second attempt with a goal.

The latter set up Kudus for the second goal in a fine run, effectively sealing United’s fate and casting a darker shadow over Ten Hag’s struggling team.

For West Ham, this marks a confirmation of the excellent work that David Moyes has been doing with the club and a reassurance to the fans with West Ham tickets that there is hope.

West Ham Eyeing Big Transfers

West Ham is actively scouting for potential additions to their squad, focusing on defensive reinforcements and a striker for the second half of the Premier League.

Moyes is discussing bringing in Stuttgart’s Dan-Axel Zagadou as a potential replacement for Yaef Aguerd, who is set to leave in January. Aguerd is having trouble blending into the physicality of the Premier League and might move to Lyon on loan-to-deal if West Ham secures a suitable replacement.

Zagadou, a 6ft 6in center-back, was previously on West Ham’s radar at Borussia Dortmund, showcasing the club’s long-term interest in him.

Montpellier striker Akor Adams has also emerged as another prospect for West Ham’s transfer shortlist. Adams, known for his goal-scoring prowess and work rate, has built a name to be a stand-out performer in Ligue 1.

Since joining the club, he has scored seven times in 15 games.

However, Moyes has downplayed the immediate expectations regarding transfers, as he mentioned that getting a striker is his priority. Michail Antonio’s knee injury with Jamaica’s national team raised concerns, although the injury appears less severe.

But a potential candidate will be necessary for West Ham at the front until Antonio recovers.

Furthermore, West Ham is considering reinforcing their defense by potentially bringing in Chelsea’s Ian Maatsen. The Chelsea outcast sent away on loan to Burnley in the Championship has performed exceptionally well.

In pursuit of a striker, the club focuses on Eddie Nketiah, the homegrown player from Arsenal who might be parting ways in January.

With a valuation of around 40 million pounds, manager David Moyes is desperate to have the likes of Nketiah in a Hammers jersey.

Recent reports hint at Arsenal’s willingness to entertain the sale of Nketiah to generate funds so that it could help the club bring in a high-profile striker.

Although Nketiah is one of Arsenal’s leading goal-scorers in the Premier League, the club feels that they need a more experienced campaigner as they try their luck again at the Premier League.

Arsenal is again the frontrunner for the Premier League title this year, but the second half of the season can get tricky, considering the domestic and the UEFA Champions League.

The pursuit of an experienced campaigner for Arsenal includes targets such as Ivan Toney, Victor Osimhein, and Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic. The hunt for the striker came after Gabriel Jesus was again sidelined due to injury.

Since Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang’s exit, the club has yet to have an experienced striker who the club could rely on.

And Moyes wants to bring in Nketiah to allow him to be the starting name at West Ham. The speculation that West Ham is pursuing Nketiah has already gone over to the fans, and those with West Ham tickets love the approach.

The Nketioah’s potential acquisition can help Moyes to have a pause in the search for a striker and groom the youngster.

With the player’s physical and goal-scoring attributes, he would easily fit into West Ham’s playing style.

While the compatibility between Nketiah and West Ham is apparent, there is still some uncertainty in the deal.

West Ham is not the only club looking to rope in Nketiah; Crystal Palace is also in the race. Since this is early insider information, the competition for the Arsenal striker might be low, but once word goes out, there might be a few more clubs with potential offers for the youngster.

The price that Arsenal is looking for is above 50 million pounds. But it will again come down to Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal manager, if he intends to sell the youngster.

Arsenal has a tough second half with the Champions League and their quest to win a Premier League title.

Kristie Mewis Signs for West Ham

Kristie Mewis, the US midfielder, will start a new chapter in her football career as she announced that she is joining West Ham after parting ways with Gotham FC.

Mewis conveyed her gratitude for being a part of the community for two years and highlighted that the experience was rewarding. She emphasized her pride in contributing to their first Championship together.

Mewis had a significant stint with Gotham, joining the team in 2021 and participating in 39 games over two seasons, contributing with four goals.

Her move to West Ham coincides with her engagement to Chelse star Sam Kerr. The club announced her signing on December 22, with Mews showing her elation on joining the club, citing it as a “dream come true.”
